Cape St Francis, Jeffreys Bay, Port Alfred, East London — these are some of South Africa’s most iconic breaks, and we’ll take you through all of them. No tourist checklists. Just proper waves, good food, and the real South African surf life.

Intermediate to advanced surfers who want to explore South Africa’s coastline properly — solo, with mates, or as a family. If you want to go beyond the famous breaks and surf lineups with more dolphins than people, this is your trip.

Tracking swells, watching the winds, and chasing whispers of firing sandbars — your guides Matt and Simon are hardcore Saffa surfers with decades of experience up and down the coast. They know every reef, every tide switch, and love getting off the beaten track!

— More Than Just Waves

Braais on the beach, cold beers at sunset, fresh oysters and crayfish straight from the sea. Keep an eye out for whales breaching, zebra grazing at sunrise, and scenery that’ll stop you in your tracks. This is a surf mission, but it’s also a full South African lifestyle experience.

One flat price covers the complete experience. No hidden extras, no awkward upsells. Your only additional costs are flights, dinners, and anything you choose to add.

All transport throughout the road trip — tracking the best waves and swell! Spots could include: Cape St Francis, Jeffreys Bay, Port Alfred, East London, and the Wild Coast. This also includes a visit to Addo Elephant Park — we’ll take a game drive to see South Africa’s wildlife, because sometimes you need to swap the lineup for some wild animals!

All surf-side accommodation along the coast at well-appointed locations with great facilities.

Arrival and departure transfers arranged. We’ll meet you off the plane and see you back safely.

Three meals a day. From breakfast to dinner, we’ll keep you fuelled on delicious, locally sourced food.

A proper South African braai with the Lucky Fish crew — one of the highlights of the week.

One included adventure — Addo Day Safari, deep-sea fishing, guided coastal hike, or canal cruise.

Once you’re surfed out or conditions don’t allow for surfing on the day, we offer a variety of lay-day and adventure activities, tailored to the individual or the group. Beach walks, tidal pool explorations, lighthouse tour, evening sundowners, yoga, and beach fishing.
